BytePlus is the enterprise technology arm of ByteDance, and its ModelArk platform is the first-party commercial route to the Seed model family — the Seed LLMs and the Seedream image models — alongside hosted open-weight checkpoints such as DeepSeek, GLM, and GPT-OSS. Inference runs on Asia-Pacific infrastructure in Malaysia, with selected Seed and Seedream models also served from the EU (Ireland). BytePlus does not train on customer data, a DPA is available, and zero data retention can be arranged via Opper Enterprise.
