Kling O1 was the first model in Kuaishou's Omni line, which puts generation and editing in one model. A single prompt can combine text, a first and last frame, reference images of a subject, registered elements and a video to edit or to borrow style and motion from, each cited in the prompt by name. It renders 3 to 10 second clips at 720p or 1080p and can keep a reference video's original sound. Its successors, Kling 3.0 Omni and Kling 4.0, add native audio and longer clips; O1 remains a cheaper choice for edits and reference-driven shots.
