Kling 4.0 is the fourth generation of Kuaishou's Kling video models, launched in October 2026. Kuaishou built it around stability: steadier large-scale motion, consistent subjects through long takes, and smoother complex camera moves such as tracking and orbit shots. A single generation runs up to 30 seconds, twice the length of Kling 3.0, and the audio is generated with the picture. One model covers three modes. Text-to-video works from a prompt, image-to-video animates a first frame and can interpolate toward a last one, and reference-to-video builds a scene from reference images, clips and registered elements cited in the prompt. Multi-shot storyboards chain several prompted shots into one continuous clip. The length and reference control suit narrative short-form work, ads and explainers that need a cast or product to stay consistent across a whole scene rather than a few seconds of it.
