Kling 4.0 Edit is the video-to-video mode of Kuaishou's Kling 4.0, launched in October 2026. It takes an existing clip of 3 to 30 seconds and an instruction that cites it as @Video1, and returns the clip re-rendered with the change: a new setting, weather, style, wardrobe or object, while the original motion and timing carry through. Reference images and registered elements can be cited in the instruction to bring a specific character, product or look into the shot. The output keeps the source length by default and comes back with audio, at 720p or 1080p. It suits reshoots that never happen: localising a scene, changing a product in existing footage, or restyling a clip without generating it again from scratch.
