SCX.ai describes it as fine-tuned specifically for software engineering from a state-of-the-art foundation model rather than a generic language model repurposed for code, but does not name the base model or its size. The company highlights four behaviors: structured task decomposition that breaks multi-part requirements into sequential steps, an iterative loop in which it generates, evaluates and refines code while tracking where it is in a sequence of tasks, context that spans files, APIs and system components for changes across interconnected services, and choosing tools and approaches to suit the technology stack in front of it.
