GPT-4 runs on EU hosting routes through the Opper gateway, with contractually enforced residency on supported providers.

Is GPT-4 trained on prompts and outputs?

No. Every hosting route for GPT-4 is configured so customer prompts and outputs are not used to train models by default.

Is a GDPR DPA available for GPT-4?

Yes. A GDPR Data Processing Agreement is available on at least one route serving GPT-4. Contact hello@opper.ai to receive it.

GPT-4 is OpenAI's earlier high-intelligence model, a step up in reasoning and reliability over the GPT-3.5 generation. It works with text input and output and supports function calling and structured outputs, making it usable for complex instruction following and application integration. The model runs with an 8,000 token context window, suitable for focused conversations and shorter documents. At launch it set the standard for general-purpose capability across writing, analysis, and coding. GPT-4 is now an older option, with OpenAI directing new development toward more capable and multimodal successors. It still performs well on tasks that need solid general reasoning without the longest context.
