Veo 3.1 Fast is the speed-optimized variant of Veo 3.1, tuned for fast generation while keeping the core audio-video synthesis and controls of the full model. It produces native audio, including dialogue, sound effects, and ambient noise, while running at roughly half the generation time of standard Veo 3.1. The model supports text-to-video and image-to-video workflows, with reference images for character and style consistency. It generates clips with audio included natively, in landscape and portrait orientations, at 720p, 1080p, and up to 4K resolution. Veo 3.1 Fast targets applications that need rapid iteration and high-volume production while retaining multimodal capabilities, with controls including scene extension, camera movement, and character animation guidance.
