Gemini 4 Carbon is a Google frontier model announced on October 28, 2026. Google describes improvements in coding, sustained agentic workflows, scientific tasks, full-stack web development and multimodal understanding. Its cybersecurity work covers finding vulnerabilities, validating risk and patching root causes. Google is rolling out access first to selected cyber defenders and trusted partners through the Fairwind Program. Access for developers, businesses and consumers is coming later. Carbon is not yet available through Opper.
