Green R Raw is a reasoning model from GreenPT, released in August 2025 alongside Green R. GreenPT states that both are backed by GPT-OSS, OpenAI's open-weight model family, and offer a 128k-token context window with up to 32k output tokens. The two differ only in the system prompt. Green R ships with GreenPT's own sustainability system prompt tuned for GreenPT's use cases, while Green R Raw gives direct access to the same reasoning stack with no built-in prompt, so the caller's system prompt is the only one that governs behavior. GreenPT positions the model for advanced reasoning and analysis, multilingual work, and writing and content generation. The raw variant fits applications that need predictable behavior under their own instructions, such as agents, extraction pipelines and products with an established house prompt.
