It matches the generation speed of Veo 3.1 Fast and is designed to enable high-volume video applications at scale. The preview supports text-to-video and image-to-video generation with multimodal controls, including camera movements and character guidance. It generates clips of 4, 6, or 8 seconds at 720p and 1080p resolutions in landscape and portrait formats. As a preview release, Veo 3.1 lite lets developers build high-volume video applications efficiently while keeping the multimodal capabilities and native audio support of the broader Veo 3.1 family.
