Veo 3 Fast is the speed-optimized tier of Google's Veo 3 video generation family, built for rapid generation while preserving visual quality. It uses the same core architecture as standard Veo 3 with optimized inference, generating comparable results at roughly twice the speed. The model suits iterative workflows and high-volume production where speed matters alongside quality, such as drafts, quick turns, and internal content pipelines. For most social media and non-broadcast use cases, the quality difference from standard Veo 3 is hard to notice. Veo 3 Fast generates eight-second clips at 720p and 1080p with natively synchronized audio, including dialogue, ambient sound, and music. It supports text-to-video and image-to-video inputs and both landscape and portrait aspect ratios.
