Seedance 1.5 Pro landed in December 2025 as ByteDance's first video model built for native audio-visual generation, producing picture and synchronized sound in a single pass rather than dubbing audio on afterward. Under the hood, a dual-branch diffusion transformer couples the video and audio streams through a cross-modal joint module. The model handles text-to-video and image-to-video with first and last frame control, delivers tightly synchronized speech across multiple languages and dialects, and reproduces cinema-grade camera moves. A fast draft mode speeds up exploration before a final render, with clips up to 12 seconds at 480p, 720p, or 1080p, well suited to dialogue scenes, ads with sound, and short-form storytelling.
