Ideogram 4.5 Edit is the editing side of Ideogram's September 2026 release. Most image models add artifacts, pixel shifts and colour drift with every edit, so an image degrades after a few rounds. Ideogram 4.5 is designed to avoid that build-up, which makes step-by-step revision of the same image practical. It takes a source image and an instruction, plus an optional mask (black marks the region to change, white preserves it) and up to four reference images. Typical uses are recolouring products, changing lighting, restoring old photos in stages, swapping objects in a room without touching the architecture, and translating stylised lettering while keeping its design.
